Here are a couple of photos from our "Spencer Family Christmas." It was so nice for Dave and I to have the crowd at our house. The kids all had fun together. We had nice, snowy weather - perfect for sledding. We all loved to play with Will, who seemed to shine especially when all the other kids had gone to bed. He would walk around the house looking for someone and calling, "Weaaaaaaaaaaaoooooooo?" (where are you?). We had a wonderful time. After all the Spencers left, our kids had a full two weeks off school; it was really nice to have slow, relaxing mornings and lots of time to spend together.
Since then, it is back to the daily grind around here. We have had days and days of bitter cold weather - too cold to play outside - so we all have a touch of Cabin Fever (and it's only January). Dave was out of town that week; thankfully, he is now back on solid ground and his plane landed on a runway, not in a river.
