All is well in Northern California. I'm still working, 5 weeks straight now! Only 22 more years and Jude will hopefully be wrapping up college. Save the date, we'll have a party.
The kids are in swim class as of last week. Ella is a fish, and she just loves going to class. She is anxiously waiting for our pool to warm up enough for home swimming. Hopefully the next few weeks will bring warmer weather. Ella was in soccer camp for a week this past month, and loved it! It was great fun watching her in the team environment. In June, she is moving out of Kindercare and into a summer camp that is held at her new Kindergarten. We're very excited about this major change for her. She seems to be warming up quite nice to the idea of switching schools. It's hard to believe that she starts real school this fall.
Jude is doing awesome. His first three swim lessons have been quite an adventure. He cries most of the time, but listens really well, and follows the commands of the teacher. He stops crying when it's time to put his head in the water. I guess he learned that lesson early on. He has a few words now - dog, ella, ball, mommy, daddy, no, and Isaac, and the repetroire is growing. It's tons of fun. Boy's are really different than girls as you all know. Loud, hard, fast, more, and right now are his modes of operation.
Trish's work is keeping her very busy, and she is planning another trip to Europe in the next few weeks. She's planted the garden, redecorated and furnished the office / guest room, and is getting her relaxation by power washing the concrete. I'm thinking of getting her a truck and one of those stick on signs for the door.
We can't wait for the Johansen visit. Hope to see some more of you sometime this summer, either in Michigan or here. Love to all. Jon
